We’ll turn your shower into a wellness shower!
The days when showering was merely a quick way to clean up are long gone. More and more people are discovering the wellness benefits of showering with water jets. But the enjoyment can be taken even further. Aglaja shower systems transform any shower into a true wellness shower.
‘Aglaja’ – this name comes from Ancient Greek and means ‘splendour’ or ‘magnificence’. And with our Aglaja shower system, your shower really does become a masterpiece. More than 15 years ago, company owner Bruno Oberli opened up entirely new horizons for well-being in the shower with the invention of his shower system.
Let yourself be inspired by wellness showers – with Aglaja shower systems, you’re sure to succeed.
Swiss ingenuity and Swiss quality – Wellness Shower by Aglaja
The basic idea behind Oberli’s invention is very simple. It is based on promoting general well-being through personal care that goes beyond a simple shower. The feel-good effect is created by the combination of ‘water spray’ and brush massage. The water for the wellness shower is supplied by the shower head, whilst the Aglaja shower system provides the brush massage.
The shower system consists of a motorised massage brush, which is mounted on a sliding rail fitted in the shower and can be adjusted in height. Aglaja shower systems are an add-on that fits into any shower and delivers a significant wellness experience. It is no problem to retrofit a standard shower to create a wellness shower.
We offer two model variants for your personalised wellness shower:
- With the Standard Shower System, the brush automatically activates when it comes into contact with the body (simply leaning against it is enough) and massages the relevant area with rotating movements. When contact ceases, the massage stops. The system’s height is adjusted manually.
- With the ‘supérieur’ shower system, various massage programmes and settings can be selected via remote control. Height adjustment is automatic. ‘supérieur’ means maximum wellness benefits – tailored entirely to your individual needs and representing the ultimate in wellness showers.
How would you like your brush massage – normal, firm or extra-gentle? You’ll find a brush to suit every massage preference in our range. The massage brushes are available in a variety of colours and are easy to replace.
You won’t need to go to great lengths to install your wellness shower either. Drilling isn’t even strictly necessary. We offer a special solution for ‘drill-free’ installation using a fixing technique developed in-house. Installation is therefore straightforward. And your wellness shower is ready to use straight away.
Aglaja shower systems are Swiss-made. The components are manufactured by Swiss companies – suppliers with whom we have enjoyed excellent long-standing partnerships.
More than just a wellness shower – what else our shower system offers
The wellness benefits of the brush massage are undisputed. The rotational movement massages muscles and connective tissue. Tension is released, the affected areas of the body become more relaxed, and blood circulation to the skin improves. This is not only good for the body, but also for the mind. Both contribute to a sense of well-being.
However, Aglaja shower systems have many other beneficial properties:
- the brush acts as a skin exfoliator and improves the skin’s appearance;
- applying soap or cream. With the brush, this is easily possible even in areas that are otherwise difficult to reach, such as the back, shoulders and neck;
- the brush massage can have further positive effects beyond the wellness benefits. It stimulates the body’s vital fluids, promotes detoxification and deacidification. Even the immune system can benefit;
- thorough cleansing of the body is achieved more effectively with a brush.
