Put an end to back tension – with Aglaja shower systems!

Do you suffer from back problems? If so, you’re certainly not alone in experiencing these issues. Back tension is a typical ailment of modern life. Anyone who ignores it will, sooner or later, have to reckon with serious back pain. Do things differently – an Aglaja shower system in your shower relieves back tension and promotes a sense of well-being.

The concept is simple yet effective: an automatically rotating massage brush ‘works on’ your back whilst you shower. This relieves tension in your back and relaxes your back muscles. You cleanse your body whilst being massaged at the same time. Aglaja’s founder and owner, Bruno Oberli, came up with this brilliant idea over 15 years ago. He put it into practice with his company.

Back tension – a typical problem of our times!

Back tension can have many different causes. Back problems caused by incorrect posture, standing for long periods, but also by sedentary work are a hallmark of our times. Office work and jobs that involve carrying heavy loads or frequently adopting hunched postures are prime causes of back tension. However, many athletes and people who are overweight also struggle with back tension. Stress, frustration and high demands should not be underestimated as triggers either.

How does back tension develop? The cause is almost always one-sided strain or postures that persist over a prolonged period. When tension occurs, a muscle or group of muscles contracts involuntarily, even when no strain is being applied. The contraction lasts for a prolonged period and causes the muscle or group of muscles to stiffen. Often, back tension can even be ‘felt’ in the form of lumps or thickened areas.

By this stage at the latest, it’s time to take effective countermeasures. For example, with a back massage in the Aglaja style! Of course, you can also ‘respond’ with balancing exercise, relaxation exercises or conventional massage. One does not rule out the other. With an Aglaja shower system, a back massage is certainly a comfortable, simple and quick experience. All it takes is a daily shower, and it is precisely this regularity that is a key factor in the massage’s success.

How Aglaja shower systems help to relieve back tension!

An Aglaja shower system consists of a massage brush, a battery-powered drive unit and a sliding rod for height adjustment in the shower. The massage brush operates fully automatically and relieves tension in the back through self-rotation. You can choose from two models:

• Aglaja Standard Shower System: here, the height is adjusted manually.
• Aglaja Superior Shower System: in the comfort version with remote control, height adjustment is carried out by the system and you can customise your massage.

Standard, firm and extra-gentle – the massage brushes for your shower system are available in these versions. If you’d prefer a gentler massage for your back, choose the extra-gentle brush. To relieve tension in your back, the standard brush is often better. Or you can opt for all brush variants for back massage, depending on your preferences and needs. The brushes are easy to replace.

Installing your Aglaja shower system is also straightforward. There’s space for it in any shower, and retrofitting is effortless. You don’t even need to drill any holes. Aglaja has developed a special ‘drill-free’ mounting system just for this purpose. So you won’t have to put in much effort to effectively relieve tension in your back in future.

By the way: Aglaja shower systems are a true example of Swiss craftsmanship. The components are Swiss-made. You can rely on that!
